Azerbaijani FM meets incoming Romanian ambassador

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met with new ambassador of Romania to the country Daniel Cristian Ciobanu.

Ciobanu presented a copy of his credentials to Mammadyarov, expressing satisfaction to be Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan. He underlined the two countries have enormous potential for development of relations in a variety of fields, in particular economic, trade and energy one.

The ambassador said during his tenure he would spare no efforts to contribute to boosting relationship between Azerbaijan and Romania even more.

Mammadyarov congratulated the Romanian diplomat on his appointment and wished him successes in his activity. During the meeting, they also discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest.
