Azerbaijan supports Turkey in fight against terrorism

Azerbaijan supports Turkey in the fight against terrorism, Chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament`s committee for international relations and inter-parliamentary ties Samad Seyidov said in the meeting with the members of Turkish parliament`s foreign relations committee.

Seyidov pointed out Azerbaijan-Turkey relations “is a symbol of stability, development and friendship and impacts all Turkic countries”. He described Azerbaijan`s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council a `successful` event.

Azerbaijani MP stressed parliaments of the two countries contribute to development of bilateral ties.

Speaking in the meeting, head of Turkish parliament`s foreign relations committee Volkan Bozkir underlined Azerbaijan and Turkey share common history, cultural and moral values and “they’re strategic partners”. Bozkir said they describe Azerbaijan`s victory in the UN Security Council as Turkey`s victory.
