Turkish consulate to be opened in Lankaran town of Azerbaijan

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic visited the town of Lankaran.

Ambassador met with head of the local executive power Tofig Ibrahimov. Ambassador was informed about the socio-economic, cultural life, tourism potential of Lankaran.

Ambassador told journalists that the visit was connected with the opening of the Turkish consulate in Lankaran. Ambassador said place had not been chosen for the consulate yet. According to him, the consulate will be opened early next year.
