Armenians violated ceasefire 64 times last month, 3 Azerbaijani servicemen killed, 2 servicemen and 1 civilian injured

Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire 64 times in October this year.

According to the results of APA’s monitoring based on the official reports of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, 3 soldiers of the Azerbaijani Army were killed. 2 servicemen and 1 civilian were injured as a result of ceasefire violation.

In October the ceasefire was violated most of all in Fuzuli region. Ceasefire was violated 18 times in this direction. The ceasefire continued 35-50 minutes.

Armenians fired on the positions of Azerbaijani Army five times in Jabrayil region.

Ceasefire was violated 8 times in Aghdam, 7 times in Goranboy, 7 times in Jabrayil, 6 times in Khojavend, 4 times in Terter.

The ceasefire violation was also recorded on Armenia-Azerbaijan state border. Thus, the opposite side fired at Azerbaijani villages and positions of Azerbaijani Army from Armenia and positions in occupied territories of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh region. On Armenia-Azerbaijan state border, the ceasefire was violated 5 times in Gazakh region, 5 times in Gedebey region, 4 times in Tovuz region.

According to the results of APA’s monitoring, Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire 664 times in January-October this year (24 times in January, 56 times in February, 80 times in March, 36 times in April, 80 times in May, 69 times in June, 68 times in July, 69 times in August, 119 times in September 64 times in October). 13 servicemen of Azerbaijani Armed Forces, 4 civilians (two children one civilian on struck mine) were killed, 21 (4 civilians, on struck mine) were wounded as Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire in 2011.
