Bahar Muradova: We have to use opportunities of influential religious figures in the process of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement

“We have to use opportunities of influential religious figures in the process of settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict”, vice speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Bahar Muradova told journalists.

“If we set a mission to solve the conflict peacefully, we need to use all opportunities. Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board, Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh and other religious figures have serious influence as a number of politicians. Therefore we need to use their influence in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, which a serious conflict hotbed in the region”.

Bahar Muradova reminded about the meeting of the CIS Inter-Religious Council’s Governing Board to be held in Yerevan later this month. Religious figures of Russia and South Caucasus, including Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board Allahshukur Pashazadeh were invited to the event.
