Azerbaijani Army officer killed by Armenians - UPDATE

Lieutenant of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Aliyev Emin Elmar, who was killed as a result of ceasefire violation by Armenian armed forces towards Kuropatkino village of Khojavend region on November 2, has been buried today in Gandja city.

Community representatives, servicemen, including the martyr’s uncle, Department Chair of staff service at the Academy of Armed Forces, Major General Lankaran Aliyev participated in the funeral.

Aliyev was killed by Armenian sniper. He was the only son of the family.

A 25-year-old officer of the Azerbaijani Army, Lieutenant Emin Aliyev was killed as a result of ceasefire violation by the Armenian Armed Forces, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Deputy spokesman Teymur Abdullayev told Trend on Thursday.
