President Ilham Aliyev congratulates Czech counterpart on country`s public holiday

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev yesterday sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus on the country`s public holiday. President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the current level of relations between the two countries.

The Head of State underlined President Vaclav Klaus`s visit to Baku in May gave a new impetus to development of interstate relationship and expansion of friendly and cooperative ties.

The President expressed assurance they would make joint efforts to continue successful cooperation both in the bilateral format and within the European Union`s Eastern Partnership programme.

President Aliyev wished Vaclav Klaus robust health, success in his activities and the people of Czechia peace and prosperity.
