Azerbaijan elected vice-president of UNESCO General Conference

On October 25, on the first day of the 36th session of the UNESCO biennial General Conference, along with the Conference president, also were elected its vice-presidents of the electoral groups. Azerbaijan has been elected as vice-president of the Conference.

Election of Azerbaijan together with the leading world countries as Germany, US, China, France as vice-president of UNESCO`s such authoritative structure is the embodiment of the all-round development in Azerbaijan and the relations established between the country and this organization thanks to tireless activity of Azerbaijan`s First Lady, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva.
