Ruling party: Azerbaijan significantly developed for years of independence

Azerbaijan was significantly developed for 20 years of its independence, deputy chairman of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov told press on Saturday.

He said that Azerbaijan was greatly changed and achieved much over these 20 years.

He said that Azerbaijan escaped from the chaos and anarchy in the early 1990s. The country became the most powerful state in the region. It has strengthened its positions in the world and increased the power of its army.

The restoration of state independence is marked in Azerbaijan on October 18.
