Azerbaijan`s President hosts official reception in honor of Baku Humanitarian Forum participants - PHOTOS

On behalf of the Azerbaijani resident in honor of the participants of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum an official reception was hosted at the Buta Palace. The ceremony was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, who were cheered.

Welcoming participants of reception, President Ilham Aliyev said:

“Dear guests, dear friends.

I once again warmly welcome all of you in Azerbaijan. Welcome to our country!
Today the First Baku International Humanitarian Forum successfully continued. The first day was very successful. The thoughts sounded in the frame of Forum, make great contribution to cooperation in humanitarian sphere.

I want to express deep gratitude to all who participate at this Forum. The Forum will continue tomorrow. Tomorrow in various sections we will hear valuable and interesting statements. In a word, I am very glad that this Forum became a forum uniting the people. This Forum united goodwill forces in the world. I hope that this Forum will have fine results.

I sincerely welcome all guests who are taking part in this forum. In particular, sincerely I welcome my colleagues – the former presidents. I welcome heads of the international organizations. Among us, today there are state and public figures, members of the non-governmental organizations, civil society, journalists. They are our guests. I consider that the Baku International humanitarian Forum will take a worthy place on global scale. I hope that this Forum will have a bright future."

Then, the Gara Garayev Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra gave a concert for guests.
