Polish citizens in Azerbaijan can vote in elections

Polish citizens temporarily residing in Azerbaijan will be able to participate in the parliamentary elections by voting at a polling station established at the Polish embassy in Baku, Consul Miroslaw Wisniewski said.

Poland will hold election to the Sejm - the lower house and Senate - the upper chamber of the Parliament on Oct. 9.

Polish citizens who reside in Azerbaijan or are on visit to the country may realize their right to vote at polling station No.22 in the Polish Embassy in Azerbaijan at Baku, Ichersheher Street, Kichik Gala 2 (Malaya Fortified) from 7 am to 9 pm [local time].

Voters must have documents proving the Polish citizenship. To date, 38 Polish citizens passed registration at the Consulate Section of the embassy, Wisniewski said.
