Azerbaijan`s parliamentary delegation to attend NATO PA`s session in Bucharest

The 57th annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will be held in Bucharest. Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis, head of the parliamentary delegation to NATO PA Ziyafat Asgarov and MPs Siyavush Novruzov, Malahat Ibrahimqizi, Tahir Suleymanov, Qudrat Hasanquliyev will participate in the session.

The committee meetings to be held as part of the session will focus on problems of cyber security and biological and chemical threats. Financial problems, economic crisis and financial sustainability in Europe will also be discussed at the session. NATO PA`s relevant committee will highlight issues related to the support of Libyan people, political transformation in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as situation in Afghanistan.

President of NATO PA Karl Lamers, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, as well as President of Romania Traian Basescu, chairpersons of Romanian Senate and Chamber of Deputies will address the session.
