Turkish Parliament to hold meeting on 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence

A meeting dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence will be held in Turkish Parliament between October 20-26, said Member of the Turkish Parliament, Head of Turkey-Azerbaijan friendship group Mustafa Kabakchi.

According to Kabakchi, this issue was also discussed during Azerbaijani Parliament’s Speaker Ogtay Asadov’s visit to Turkey. The meeting also focused on organizations of mutual visits for strengthening of inter-parliament relations and other issues.

Kabakchi also added that the Turkish Parliament has already started the meetings. The issue on recognition of Khojaly genocide will be possibly submitted for discussion in the Turkish Parliament.
