Agenda of first meeting of Azerbaijani parliament’s autumn session made public

18 issues have been included into the plan of legislative measures of the autumn session of the Azerbaijani parliament, spokesman for the parliament Akif Tevekkuloglu said at the press conference dedicated to the opening of the autumn session 2011. Tevekkuloglu said this figure can change, on the legislative initiative a number of draft laws are sent to the parliament during the session, this may cause the increase of the number.

The first meeting will be held on September 30. 27 issues have been included into the agenda of the meeting. The agenda of the autumn session, 14 intergovernmental agreements signed by the Azerbaijani government and a number of governments will be confirmed on the first day. Amendments to the Criminal Code, Civil Code, Code of Administrative Offences, laws on “Constitutional Court”, “State due”, “Registration of real estate”, “Social insurance”, “Employment” will be discussed.

The documents included into the state budget package of Azerbaijan will be discussed during the autumn session.

A number of new draft laws will be discussed during the session. Code of City building and Construction will be discussed in the first reading, the Competition Code in the third reading. Draft laws on “Education credit”, “Military job and military service”, “Higher education”, “Science policy”, “Report of municipalities”, “Culture”, “Art of mugham”, “Protection of the rights of the patient” (first reading), draft laws on “Social service” (second reading), “Rights and duties of detainees” (third reading) will be discussed during the session.
