President Ilham Aliyev receives Chair of California Senate Environmental Quality Committee - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Chair of US California Senate Environmental Quality Committee Joseph Simitian. Speaking in the meeting, President Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of reciprocal visits for expansion of bilateral relations.

The Head of State expressed hope that the visit would be `successful`. He pointed out the US delegation`s visit to Azerbaijan would help learn more about the country.

In turn, Chair of California Senate Environmental Quality Committee Joseph Simitian expressed satisfaction with the visit. He noted that the delegation includes senators representing various districts of California. Simitian hailed the importance of the trip in terms of getting closer acquainted with Azerbaijan.
