Head of Azerbaijan Presidential Administration attending international meeting in Yekaterinburg, Russia - UPDATE - PHOTOS

An Azerbaijani delegation led by head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev is attending an international meeting of high ranking officials responsible for security matters in Yekaterinburg, Russia. The delegation includes chiefs of the Presidential Administration`s departments Fuad Alasgarov, Novruz Mammadov and Elnur Aslanov.

The 2-day event brings together delegations from 65 countries. The meeting focuses on cooperation during natural and technogenic disasters, international information security under the conditions of building information society and fight against transnational crime.
Mehdiyev delivered reports at the event. On the sidelines of the meeting, head of the Presidential Administration conducted several meetings.

He met Secretary of Turkey`s Security Council Serdar Kilic to discuss bilateral cooperation and future plans of security councils of the two countries. Mehdiyev also met Polish Secretary of State, head of the National Security Bureau Stanislav Kozey. Kozey proposed preparing an agreement between relevant structures of Poland and Azerbaijan and confirming cooperation plan. Mehdiyev, in turn, invited the Secretary of the National Security Bureau to Azerbaijan.

The sides agreed to prepare an agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan`s Security
Council and Polish National Security Bureau. Kozey presented the Polish National Security Bureau`s memorial medal to Mehdiyev.
