Baku hosts international conference “From Isolation towards integration” - PHOTOS

An international conference “From Isolation towards integration” has started today here as part of a joint project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijani Government and UNICEF. The conference brings together representatives from 20 countries, officials, parliamentarians and others.

Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaian Elchin Efandiyev briefed the participants on the progress done in his country to ensure social protection of the population. He also praised the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s works on integration of disabled people into society.

Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foudnation, Anar Alakbarov read out the message of the President of the Foundation, Azerbaijan`s First Lady, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva.

The participants also saw a documentary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on disabled people.
