Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs makes statement

Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a statement, whereby it stated: “The agenda of the 136th Ministerial Council of the Arab League held on September 13-15, 2011, included a paragraph to support Azerbaijan`s non-permanent UN SC membership for a non-permanent UN SC seat in 2012-2013s.

The 136th session of the Arab League Council at the level of Foreign Ministers has adopted a decision on support for Azerbaijan`s non-permanent UN SC membership. This decision is the symbol of high level development of the relations with the Arab world.”
