Azerbaijani President congratulates Tajik counterpart on Independence Day

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon as his country celebrates the Independence Day.

The Head of State expressed his confidence “we will continue our joint efforts to strengthen friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan based on historical traditions and develop intergovernmental ties reflecting the will of our peoples”.

President Ilham Aliyev wished the Tajik leader robust health, happiness and successes in his activities and the friendly people of Tajikistan peace and prosperity.
