Azerbaijan’s PM receives governor of Russia’s Astrakhan region

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade met with the delegation headed by the governor of the Astrakhan region of Russia Alexander Zhilkin.

Prime Minister Rasizade brought to the attention of the historical roots between Azerbaijan and Astrakhan. He noted that such visits give impetus to the expansion of economic, cultural and tourism relations between the countries.

Zhilkin said that all conditions created for businessmen of Azerbaijan. He added that there is great demand in Astrakhan for agricultural products imported from Azerbaijan.

At the end of the meeting, the governments of Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan region of Russia signed agreement on cooperation in economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The document was signed by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and the Governor of Astrakhan Region Alexander Zhilkin.
