Azeri Human Rights Commissioner meets Polish ambassador

Azerbaijan`s Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova has met Polish ambassador to the country Michal Labenda. Suleymanova stressed the necessity of continuing bilateral cooperation with Poland in the field of human rights.

During the meeting, they discussed priorities for further cooperation. Polish Institute for the Human Rights and Azerbaijan are cooperating as part of the program for cooperation between Ombudsmen from Eastern Partnership countries 2009-2013.

The Commissioner said Polish experts would visit Azerbaijan in the near future to hold enlightening training workshops. Suleymanova added the workshops would create opportunities for fruitful experience exchange between the two countries` institutes.

Azerbaijan`s Commissioner for Human Rights also underlined this events would contribute to developing bilateral relationship.
