OSCE Baku Office concerned over convictions of April 2 rally participants

The OSCE Office in Baku is concerned about convictions of political activists in connection with their participation in the April 2 demonstration.

The Office expresses hope for further comprehensive review by the Court of Appeal, the statement reads.

The OSCE Office in Baku expresses willingness to continue working with the Government to support judicial reforms and the full exercise of fundamental rights and freedoms, including freedom of assembly, the document says.
