Draft law on “Political parties” to be submitted for discussion in Parliament’s autumn session

The holding of extensive discussion of the draft law on “Political parties” is planned in Azerbaijan in September-October this year, said head of the Parliament’s Office Safa Mirzayev.

Saying that the draft law was ready, Mirzayev added that the document was sent to the Council of Europe’s Venice Commission for getting reference.

After the reference and discussions the draft law will be sent to Azerbaijan for consideration. The draft law will be submitted for discussion in the Parliament’s autumn session on the basis of the president’s presentation.
