Conference on results of parliament’s summer session held

The 17 meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament’s fourth convocation have been held up to now. 183 decisions and laws were adopted at those meetings.

11 meetings of the parliament’s summer session were held and 94 decisions were adopted, said Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova at the press conference dedicated to the results of the parliament’s summer session.

Muradova said that last period the main attention in the parliament were given the human rights, social and economical spheres, the approval of international agreements and declarations were in the focus of attention. Deputy Speaker of the parliament said that the work of inter-parliamentary friendly groups were active during last period, underlined that it showed its own results.

Noting the active work of the Parliament’s Office, Muradova said that 3007 proposals, applications and complaints entered to the office, 30054 persons were employed. According to her, 64 Mass Medias were accredited in order to illustrate the parliament’s meeting.
