Warsaw hosts Day of Azerbaijan book

A Day of Azerbaijan book was organized at Sigmund Jean Rumel Library in Praga Południe (South Praga) district of Warsaw, Poland.

The day of Azerbaijan book featured two parts. The first part was organized for pupils of kindergartens and gymnasiums. Staff members of the Azerbaijan embassy to Poland listened to Azeri fairy tales, drew paintings for these tales, watched Azeri cartoon films, read poems of Azerbaijan authors Nizami Ganjavi, Shakh Ismail Khatai, Suleyman Rustam, Rasul Rza and others.

The second part of the event featured ambassador of Azerbaijan to Poland Hasan Hasanov. The ambassador briefed the participants on Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its consequences, successful home and foreign policy of the President Ilham Aliyev, outstanding representatives of the Azerbaijan culture, Azerbaijani-Polish relations.

A photo exhibition dedicated to architecture and the jeweler`s art of Azerbaijan was organized as part of the event.
