Azerbaijan, UAE discuss defense cooperation

Azerbaijani Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov received an UAE delegation headed by Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, the ministry told Trend.

Jamalov provided the delegation with extensive information about the ministry’s activities.

Al Rumaithi said they will become familiar with the ministry’s enterprises and manufacturing process during the four-day visit.

He emphasized that Azerbaijan’s defense industry has done a great deal in a short period of time.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinions on cooperation between countries in the defense industry.

The UAE delegation visits Azerbaijan upon the Industry Ministry’s invitation.
