"Azerbaijan will completely provide the Armed Forces with large-scale military supplies from the end of 2012"

From 2012, Azerbaijan will completely provide its Armed Forces with large-scale military supplies, Minister of Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov said.

To him, at present, all armaments for 5.45mm-30mm caliber bullets, as well as mine throwers and grenade throwers are produced at the ministry’s establishments.

"From this year, we have started the establishment of production of 85 mm-155 mm armaments. We will provide the army with these armaments from the end of 2012", the minister added.

Jamalov also said the ministry was planning $18 mln export. Note that, compared to the previous year, orders received by the Ministry from power structures rose 6 times.
