Azerbaijani FM urges citizens to abandon their trips to Syria

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry warned its citizens about the complex situation in Syria, urging them to abandon their trips to that country, the information posted on the official website of the ministry said.

The massive anti-government demonstrations and riots have been held in various cities of Syria from mid. March. Many people were killed and injured. In this regard, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry urges citizens not to travel to this country.

Azerbaijani citizens, who faced with problems in this country, are recommended to contact the Azerbaijani Embassy in Syria, located in Damascus, for the prompt assistance.
