Parliamentary Speaker: I have no doubt that Azerbaijanis will soon mark Karabakh’s liberation

The parliament held the next meeting of its spring session. The meeting started with the commemoration of the people who became martyrs during the occupation of the town of Shusha by the Armenians.

In his opening speech, Speaker Ogtay Asadov congratulated Azerbaijani people on the May 9 Victory over fascism and 88th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’s birthday: "I am sure that, in the nearest future, under leadership of Ilham Aliyev, our people will add new victory to the Azerbaijani history, the day of Karabakh’s liberation from occupation".

Six issues are on agenda of the parliament’s meeting today.
