International Crisis Group representative meets with family of Azerbaijani child killed by Armenian sniper

Tabib Huseynov, Caucasus analyst at the International Crisis Group paid visit to the region for the purpose of studying the living conditions of citizens in front-line settlements and security of civilians.

ICG’s representative was accompanied by famous journalist Karim Karimli. Huseynov visited Chiragli and Orta Garvand villages of Aghdam region, talked to residents. He witnessed that every day civilians face danger here.

Moreover, ICG’s representative visited family of 9-year old Fariz Badalov, who was killed by Armenian sniper on March 8. Huseynov could not hide his surprise on nearness of the distance between the village and enemy units.

Huseynov told APA’s Karabakh bureau that the main purpose of his visit to Agdam is to gather information for the document related to security of civilians living in front-line settlements. To him, the International Crisis Group is intending to acquaint with the situation in the front-line settlements of other regions as well.
