Azerbaijani opposition parties hold joint meeting

The Citizens and Development Party (CDP) and Liberal Party of Azerbaijan (LPA) held a joint meeting this week. The meeting discussed the current political situation in the country and plan for joint activities, the CDP reported.

LPA head Evez Temirkhan and CDP leader Ali Aliyev made a broad analysis of the situation in the country . Following the opposition leaders’ speech, participants expressed their opinion on the matter.

Noting the importance of strengthening joint activities of the LPA and CDP on the background of political developments in the country, the participants put forward related proposals.

The meeting decided to evaluate the proposals and include them in the plan of the two parties’ joint activities.
