Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kemaleddin Heydarov met with the Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Teymuraz Sharashenidze on March 18.
The minister informed the guest in details about the emergency management in the republic and activity of the ministry’s subordinate organizations, the Ministry of Emergency Situations' website reported.
The ambassador was also informed that the Azerbaijani ministry is interested in extension of cooperation with the relevant organizations of Georgia for prevention of natural and industrial disasters and quick elimination of their results.
In his turn, the ambassador thanked the minister for the warm meeting and emphasized the importance of further extension and development of the cooperation between the relevant organizations of the countries.
The minister and ambassador exchanged opinions on other mutually interesting issues.
