Head of Caucasus Muslims Office attends Congress of Muslims of North Ossetia

The Head of the Caucasus Muslims Office Allahshukur Pashazade attended the Fifth Congress of Muslims of North Ossetia, spokesman for the Caucasus Muslim Board Rahima Dadasheva said over phone from Vladikavkaz.

Haji Murad Gachsalov was elected new mufti of North Ossetia at the Congress. His candidate was supported by Pashazade.

Pashazade touched upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said that it is necessary to achieve settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem to achieve peace in the Caucasus.

"Despite the current ceasefire regime, Armenia continues to shed blood," Pashazade said.
