First lady of Azerbaijan meets Turkish and Austrian ambassadors - PHOTOS

First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met Austrian ambassador to the country Mrs. Silvia Mayer Kaybic.

The ambassador was informed about the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The Foundation, which has operated for 7 years, implements programs and projects for the prosperity of Azerbaijan's people.

It was stressed the main goal of the Foundation, established in the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, is to study and popularize the national leader's rich heritage, give an idea to the future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socio-economic, cultural progress.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation also realizes projects in the fields of education, health, culture and science.

Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva spoke of international relations of the Foundation, adding it had built successful cooperation with the UNICEF, UNESCO and UN.

Mrs. Kaybic said projects of the Foundation were highly praised in Europe. She stressed this activity was of humanitarian importance.

During the meeting, they discussed development of cooperation in the fields of education and culture.

First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met with Turkish ambassador Hulusi Kilic on Tuesday.

Mehriban Aliyeva pointed out Azerbaijan-Turkey deep-rooted friendly and fraternal ties serve interests of both peoples and countries. She said the Foundation is open to cooperation for implementation of joint projects in the future.

The ambassador said he is aware of large-scale projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. According to him, joint projects will contribute to development of both countries. Kilic pointed out cooperation with the Foundation would help strengthen relations between the peoples even more.
