Fikret Demirtas: Cooperation between Azerbaijan's Internal Troops and Turkish Gendarmerie to continue and extend

Within the framework of the visit to Azerbaijan Chief of Headquarters of Turkish Gendarmerie, Colonel-General Fikret Demirtas visited Heydar Aliyev’s tomb in the Alley of Honor, Turkish Martyrs' Lane.

Demirtas told journalists that relations between the two countries develop in a rising line and interorganizational relations plays an important role here. The general said that he would attend the event devoted to 19th anniversary of the Internal Troops.

Demirtas noted that cooperation perspectives between the Internal Troops and Gendarmerie would be discussed at the meetings: "The cooperation of mutual interest to continue and extend".

Thereafter Azerbaijani and Turkish representatives held a meeting at the headquarters of the Internal Troops without the participation of journalists.
