Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan reacted to the Musavat Party’s decision to hold a meeting in the center of Baku on March 12.

Spokesperson for the Ministry Orkhan Mansurzadeh said that Baku Executive Power allocated places for mass actions. "Baku Executive Power allowed Musavat Party to hold its meeting. If Musavat party holds meeting in one particular place, police will control public order and enhance security of the participants. But if the party attempts to hold uncoordinated action in the streets and squares of Baku and to break public order, it will be strongly prevented".

Baku Executive Power responded the Musavat Party’s appeal for holding the meeting. Baku Executive Power didn’t allow Musavat party to hold meeting in front of the Tebriz Cinema because it can not guarantee security and due to intensive traffic there. Baku Executive Power offered Musavat to hold meeting in Bibiheybat Stadium of the capital, but Musavat Party insisted.
