"CoE pre-election observation mission is of special importance to Azerbaijan"

Pre-election observation mission of the Council of Europe is of special importance to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has been a COE member since 2001 and develops its ties with the organization. We believe that this mission will give an objective information about the elections to the European community, Samad Seyidov, chairman of Azerbaijan Parliament`s international relations and interparliamentary ties said at a meeting with members of PACE pre-electoral mission for observation of the 7 November parliament elections in Azerbaijan.

Head of the mission Paul Wille said the mission will consist of two parts. According to him, the first is pre-election mission, which is currentl active. The other one is a short-term mission which will arrive on the eve of the polling day.
