Azerbaijan's speaker meets visiting Czech delegation

A delegation headed by Chairman of the EU-Affairs Committee of the Czech Senate, Senator Ludek Sefzig, was received by the Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis) Ogtay Asadov.
As was noted, last years the Azerbaijani-Czech relations have become more intensive. Reciprocal visits of official dignitaries from both sides have promoted development of bilateral ties both on regional and international arena, Speaker Asadov underlined.

The parliamentary friendship groups function in legislatures of both countries. These groups have to make reciprocal visits to exchange experience, Asadov noted. The Speaker praised current political relations between the two countries, noting that “the joint economic commissions would be useful for cooperation in the years ahead”.

Touching upon the Nagorno Karabakh problem, Asadov highlighted the last efforts to find resolution to the conflict.

Chairman of the Czech Senate's Committee Ludek Sefzig spoke of the meetings he held during the visit and expressed admiration for the accomplishments the republic achieved last years in all spheres.

The Czech Republic is keen in development of bilateral relations even more, Ludek Sefzig emphasized. He shared views of the delegation on exchange of experience, the prospects of cooperation between the two countries.
