Azerbaijani president to trip to Uzbekistan late September

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's official visit to Uzbekistan is scheduled for Sept.27-28, the Uzbek ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismatulla Irgashev said.

During the visit, a wide range of issues relating to expanding and deepening bilateral cooperation will be discussed. A large package of bilateral documents, covering the humanitarian, economic sphere, cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two countries, information exchange and political consultations will be signed, the diplomat said.

Tashkent will host inter-ministerial political consultations on the eve of President Aliyev's visit to Uzbekistan. The 10th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between the two countries will be held, Irgashev said.
