The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet next week in the U.S., the U.S. co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke said in an interview with BBC."I think this summit will be an important event. Armenian and
Azerbaijani presidents together with the leaders of states of Europe and
North America will sit at one table. Undoubtedly, differences in the
positions of the conflict sides will again be in focus. The presidents
will have to inform the world public on plans to develop the process,"
Bradtke said.
"To my mind, certain progress can be achieved here. During the last
visit to the region we informed the sides on the possibility of reaching
agreements in certain spheres. We will discuss these issues again in
New York. We expect from the sides constructive steps to advance the
peace process at this stage," the diplomat said.
