President of Dutch senate arrives in Azerbaijan

At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport he was welcomed by first Vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov.

The aim of the visit is to discuss how to develop relations between the two countries' parliaments and expand cooperation in various fields.

During the visit, Van der Linden will have a number of meetings with Azeri officials, including chairman of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov.

He will also pay respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev and visit the Alley of Martyrs.
