President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates new houses for flood-affected people in Hajigabul

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated new houses in Meyniman village in Hajigabul for citizens who lost their houses as a result of the overflow of the Kur River. The President viewed the new houses. Some 35 houses were completely damaged, while 64 houses became unsafe in the village as a result of the floods.

In accordance with the President`s instructions, 22 two-, three- and four-room houses were built here. The new houses occupy a total area of 2,150 square meters. The work is also underway to reconstruct infrastructure and lay a new road in the village. The President presented the keys and house licenses to the villagers.
