New Iranian consul general to Nakhichivan presents credentials

Iran's new Consul General to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) Mohammad Taghi Mohammad Ali presented his credentials today to NAR Parliamentary Speaker Vasif Talibov, the Fars news agency reported.

Talibov congratulated Muhammad Ali on his appointment, adding that he will soon visit Tabriz. Talibov also asked the diplomat to pass an official invitation to visit the NAR to Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.
