Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to his Swiss counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to his Swiss counterpart Doris Leuthard on her country`s national holiday - the foundation of the Swiss Confederacy.

The letter says: “On behalf of the Azerbaijani people and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you and your people on the national holiday of your country.”

The President said “Azerbaijan and Switzerland enjoy comprehensively developing relations.”

The Azerbaijani leader expressed assurance “our steps towards strengthening friendly ties and deepening cooperation between our countries will further serve for the prosperity of our peoples”.

President Aliyev wished the Swiss leader robust health and successes in her activities and the people of her country peace and prosperity.
