India's Punjab province senior official to travel to Azerbaijan

Deputy Chief Minister of the Punjab province of India will visit Azerbaijan on September 16th. According to APA, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to the Azerbaijan Debnath Shaw told reporters that the purpose of the visit of Deputy Chief Minister is to exchange experience and expand cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Shaw said that India is interested in developing ties with Azerbaijan in the field of agriculture. "Agriculture is the most developed non-oil sector of Azerbaijan," the ambassador said.
