"Azerbaijan and Iran can increase trade turnover to 10 billion dollars"

"Azerbaijan-Iran trade turnover comes close to $500 millions, but both countries can increase it up to $10 billions. We will put our efforts into achieving this goal," said Iran`s Minister of Finance and Economy Seyyid Shamsaddin Hussaini.

The minister noted Iran-Azerbaijan deep-rooted historical ties provide opportunities for expanding economic relations. The Iranian Minister said he had been received by President Ilham Aliyev to discuss development of bilateral relations. He pointed out friendly relationship between Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Mahmoud Ahmedinejad of Iran contribute to development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
