Kuwait "keen on cooperation with Azerbaijan"

“Kuwait is keen on cooperation with Azerbaijan in all fields. The interparliamentary ties of the two countries are developing. Our MPs enjoy effective cooperation in international organizations. This factor plays important role in boosting relations between the two nations,” said Board Chairman and General Director of the Kuwait Public Authority for Sports and Youth, Faisal Al-Jazzaf at a meeting with Azerbaijani vice-speaker Valeh Alasgarov.

Alasgarov praised the role of Azerbaijan-Kuwait interparliamentary friendship group in developing the bilateral relationship.

Al-Jazzaf said cooperation between the parliaments was of "great" importance for both countries.

Azerbaijani MP, chairman of Azerbaijan-Kuwait interparliamentary friendship group Akram Abdullayev said a group of Kuwaiti parliamentarians would visit Azerbaijan in the near future.

He expressed hope the visit would make "good" contribution to expanding legal cooperation.
