Palestinians must have absolute rights: Manama

01 December 2009 [15:57] - TODAY.AZ
Manama: Bahrain on Monday said that the international community should build on the Goldstone Report documenting the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians to adopt more effective stances in favour of their inalienable rights.

The international community should assume its responsibilities towards the future of the Palestinian people in order to have the right to decide on their destiny and establish a Palestinian state with Al Quds as its capital, King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa said in a message to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the head of the committee in charge of the Palestinians' rights Ambassador Paul Bacchi.

The message marked the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on the anniversary of the 1947 Resolution 181, which partitioned Palestine into two states.
