British The HALO Trust makes gross error related to Azerbaijan – PHOTO

As earlier reported, British company The HALO Trust is engaged in illegal activity in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan’s inalienable part, under the guise of mine sweep.

In addition to company’s engagement in illegal activities in the Azerbaijani lands occupied by Armenia, it also introduces Nagorno Karabakh as a separate and independent state on its Web site at www.halotrust.org, which is contrary to the UN General Assembly resolutions.

In addition, on this Web site Nagorno-Karabakh is indicated separately from Azerbaijan, which is a violation of country’s territorial integrity. Azerbaijan’s regional centers are represented by Armenian names (Martakert, Martuni, Hadrut).

We are sure pro-Armenian forces, who have tried to appropriate Nagorno-Karabakh by means of false facts on numerous occasions, were also involved with creating Nagorno-Karabakh section at www.halotrust.org to certain extent.

Day.Az urges its readers not to be indifferent of this gross error on the The HALO Trust Web site and send a letter of protest to [email protected] with the following content:

To the attention of halotrust.org editors and publishers!

Your Web site contains a serious error which needs immediate correction. On your Web site Nagorno-Karabakh is indicated as a separate state which is disrespect for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. Nagorno-Karabakh is not a separate state, but a region within Azerbaijan.

Nagorno-Karabakh is an inalienable part of Azerbaijan which is testified by also UN General Assembly resolution. International community also recognizes Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.

We hope the British company will correct the error on its Web site.
