Azerbaijan’s opposition Umid Party is holding territorial meetings to prepare for the coming municipal election, party’s deputy chairman Anvar Agazade said.

He said the party is holding territorial meetings and is specifying list of candidates.
“Territorial meeting have already been held in Shirvan, Oguz, Masalli, Beylagan, Lankaran, Barda and Goranboy. The next meetings will be held in Sabirabad, Siyazan, Davachi, Kurdamir, Yevlakh and Ganja.
Under party’s plan, territorial meetings must be held by early August, he said.
He said the party takes steps to reinforce party’ structure in country’s regions.
